Through SPRA, Strategic Plan Antwerp Region, Gevaert was involved in the Modenatie project. The project aroused the SPRA’s interest because of its fascinating content and the investment perspective, i.e. a Public/Private Cooperation (PPS). Gevaert’s involvement in the ModeNatie project as a shareholder not only ‘enfashiones’ Gevaert’s block of shares, but also creates the possibility of putting the PPS in practice. Gevaert strongly believes in ModeNatie as the promoter and supporter of Flemish fashion home and abroad and through her part in ModeNatie nv contributes to the renovation of the prestigious Flemish fashion home port. May the involvement of the Flemish region and eight enthusiastic private investors in ModeNatie stimulate other parties to join the force!
